Everton footballers told that Mykolenko plays chess excellently

Vitaliy Mykolenko’s partners at Everton — James Garner and Jarrard Branthwaite said that the Ukrainian plays chess excellently.

Garner: “Miko is the best! He doesn’t say a word except ‘check’.

Branthwaite: “That’s true. We have a chessboard in the locker room, and every morning he just invites you to play.”

Garner: “He doesn’t say a word until...”

Branthwaite: “...until the game ends,” said the teammates.
