At «City», the truth about the scandal involving Haaland and the mascot has been revealed

Manchester City has denied allegations that their striker Erling Haaland hit the team mascot in the back of the head, causing injuries that forced him to go to the hospital, Reuters reports.

The incident allegedly occurred before a home match against Southampton in October. The woman who performed the role of the mascot stated at a press conference that she was shocked, as when she posed for a photo, the Norwegian hit her on the head. She filed a complaint with the police and approached the club regarding this issue.

“The club conducted a full investigation and found no evidence, including video recordings, that would support the allegations regarding the injury,” said a City representative. “We are aware of the complaint filed with the Manchester police, but they also have not taken any further action in this matter.”
