The midfielder of Kharkiv’s Metalist 1925, Ilya Kruptsky, who is currently playing on loan at Poltava’s Vorskla, talked about how he could have ended up at Kyiv’s Dynamo last year (at that time, the midfielder was also playing for Vorskla, but on a full-time basis).
“In September of last year, when I was called up to the youth national team of Ukraine for matches against Serbia and Ireland, my agent called me and asked, “Do you want to go to Dynamo?”
At first, I was stunned, I didn't know what to say. But then I replied that yes, I wanted to join Dynamo. But there were only two days left until the summer transfer window closed, and it turned out that my transfer simply could not be completed,” Kruptsky said during a broadcast on the YouTube channel “Dynamivets”.
Recall that last winter, Kruptsky transferred to Metalist 1925, after which he was immediately loaned to Vorskla until the end of the current season.
