Everton manager David Moyes believes that Liverpool striker Diogo Jota’s goal in the Merseyside derby was awarded incorrectly.
"Diaz is offside. I didn’t ask the referees for explanations, I just told them that I was upset. I think it was a pretty simple situation. All the players hold the line, and Diaz is behind and impacts Tarky’s clearance.
I am truly surprised that the offside was not called. Or maybe not surprised... I don’t think many managers coming here get a lot of decisions in their favor at Anfield."
I’m not sure how well the linesmen handled their job this evening. They rushed to raise the flag, were late in raising the flag, and I don’t think they were good," Moyes is quoted by The Independent.
