The President of UEFA, Aleksander Čeferin, believes that the organization he leads is not focused on making money.

"I often hear that UEFA is too focused on making money... But we are not a cold and soulless profit-making machine; we are a marvel of collecting and distributing funds—with a conscience. Because we give back. Because we distribute these funds—97% in fact—honestly, diligently. We invest them back into football—into European football. For the benefit of many," quotes Čeferin from the UEFA press service.
