The head coach of the Czech “Lishen,” Milan Valakhovich, commenting on his team’s defeat to “Varnsdorf” (1:2) in a second division match, also touched on the topic of the penalty awarded against the opponent, which was missed by the Ukrainian forward Artem Besedin.
“The penalty was executed poorly. Moreover, it was not by the player who should have approached the ball. But overall, it’s not about the penalty: we had a catastrophically poor start, we were doing terrible things, and if it weren’t for our goalkeeper, we could have been losing 0:7 half an hour after the first whistle,” — Valakhovich’s words are quoted by the official website of “Lishen.”
