Forward of "Left Bank" Dmytro Shastal answered questions regarding the events on the football field in the match against "Dynamo" and the team’s position in the standings of the Ukrainian championship.
— Today "Left Bank" had an unsuccessful result in the match against "Dynamo". What rating would you give to the team’s game today?
— It was, of course, difficult. We were relying on the result. What can I say, "Dynamo" is "Dynamo". They succeeded due to their class, due to their skill.
— Have you already asked this question to Oleksandr Karavaev — did the night attack on Kyiv affect your preparation for the game and your mental state?
— No, not at all.
— In the first half, "Left Bank" managed to quite well contain the attacks of "Dynamo". How did you manage to maintain such discipline on the field?
— Discipline, responsibility. But still, we conceded. If we had kept the score, I think the second half would have gone a little differently. Perhaps "Dynamo" would have started to get nervous. And we would have had chances.
— There were many emotions on the football field today. What is this connected with?
— Nothing in particular.
— Is this the attitude for the game?
— Well, we prepare for each opponent. This is not a special attitude for "Dynamo". Believe me, we want to win every game.
— In the context of the fight for survival, does every game weigh like the last one? Do you go out like it’s a final?
— I don’t like the thesis that "there are six finals left, eight finals". We need to earn points — that’s very important now. For clubs like "Dynamo" and for clubs like us.
