The head coach of Barcelona, Hans-Dieter Flick, commented on the crushing defeat of Borussia Dortmund in the first match of the Champions League quarterfinals.
"We have not gone anywhere yet. Winning with such a number of goals is important: when a team plays this well, goals usually flow like water. We do not think about moving forward, as you never know what can happen next. Football is madness. We will be geared up to play just as well next week.
Dortmund has a good team, and we already know that when going there, we need to make as few mistakes as possible. Three of our guys up front are wonderful and very important, but our defense is also crucial... And our guys who come on as substitutes somehow manage to show the same level of play that the players who left the field had!
Things are fine with Lamin [Yamal]. He has been playing too much lately, so there was a chance to rest him earlier and also give Ansu [Fati] a chance to play. It’s very important for him to have more playing time, he has trained so well that he deserves it," quotes Flick the official UEFA website.
