Authoritative official and coach Alexander Kosevych has departed this life at the age of 60. This is reported by the press service of UPL.
“Alexander Oleksandrovych held leadership positions in football clubs ‘Shakhtar’ (Donetsk), ‘Havant’ (Donetsk), ‘Metalurh’ (Donetsk), ‘Kryvbas’ (Kryvyi Rih), worked as head coach of ‘Kryvbas’, ‘Zorya’, Kramatorsk ‘Avangard’, played more than 100 matches in UPL, more than 100 matches in the First League and left memories of his professionalism.
In recent years, he dedicated himself to the restoration and support of football infrastructure in Donetsk region in wartime conditions, serving as the first vice president and executive director of the Football Association of Donetsk region, performed the functions of UAF Delegate at matches of the Ukrainian championship.
The Ukrainian Premier League expresses condolences to the family, relatives, and friends of Alexander Oleksandrovych,” the message states.
