The head coach of “Alexandria” Ruslan Rotan is outraged by the refereeing in the match of his team against Lviv’s “Rukh” (1:1).
“I would like matches like this to be judged properly. For Ukrainian football to progress, there needs to be honesty regarding each team. And today the referees stole our victory. Sorry, but this is straightforward. They didn’t even look at the penalty moment against Rukh, they interpreted the moments and fouls differently: one interpretation for us, another for Rukh.
I would not like to touch on the refereeing staff. But some moments are visible even to the fans. My phone is full of messages with the same word about the refereeing. It’s not just me being blind. And the fans aren’t blind either. Where does it come from? I don’t know, you look for yourselves. But it’s simply unfair to football itself.
In our first match against Rukh, we also lost our victory. Back then VAR looked at the incident for seven minutes, and this time they didn’t even want to approach it. If the main referee is blind, then probably the person at VAR wasn’t very sighted either.
The referee came out with such eyes, the same one was sitting at VAR, and they worked today for our hegemonies — “Dynamo” and “Shakhtar”. This is, of course, a joke, I don’t want to offend anyone, it’s a joke. What’s the point for the president of our club to invest money if his goal is taken away?”, — said Rotan on the air of the YouTube channel “PROFUTBOL Digital”.
