Norway will be represented in the semifinals of the European Cup for the first time in history

As already reported, one of the semifinals of the current season’s Europa League is the Norwegian “Bodø/Glimt”, which in the quarterfinals of the tournament was stronger than the Roman “Lazio” (2:0, 1:3, on penalties — 3:2). This success became a historic event not only for this club but also for all of Norway.

Never before have Norwegian clubs performed in the semifinals of a European Cup tournament: the maximum success of representatives of this country has been reaching the quarterfinals of the Cup Winners’ Cup and the Champions League (“Lyn”, “Brann”, “Rosenborg”).
