In the 25th round of the Ukrainian championship, “Dynamo” will meet with “Obolon”. The general director of FC “Obolon” Oleksandr Riznychenko shared his expectations for today’s confrontation.
“In every match, the players of ‘Obolon’ are focused on winning. Today’s match is no exception, although the players of Serhiy Shyschenko know well the strength of the Dynamo players and their desire to regain the championship title, which compels them to act as if they can’t. However, the image of the opponent serves as an additional incentive for ‘Obolon’ to demonstrate their best qualities and to exceed their limits.
The benefit of confrontations with the grandee of Ukrainian football lies primarily in the fact that you realize your true worth and what still needs improvement. Of course, the players of ‘Obolon’ remember the heavy defeat to their locals in the first round and I hope that the right conclusions were made. Two consecutive victories in the championship against their neighbors in the standings—‘Inhulets’ and ‘Chornomorets’—also boost their confidence.
