Bukovyna forward Bohdan Boychuk commented on the defeat against Dynamo in the 1/2 final of the Ukrainian Cup.
"I don’t even remember the emotions after my goal. Hlushchuk did everything for this goal — won the ball, rolled it to me on time, and I just had to score. Of course, it’s pleasant to score against Dynamo, but I still don’t realize what happened. However, we lost, so my goal means nothing at all.
At halftime, we talked among ourselves that we need to believe in our own strength and we can still score. But this is Dynamo and they stepped up in the second half — we understood that as well.
Why did we concede four goals in the second half? It’s sad that we conceded such goals in the second half. Dynamo had great combinations after which they didn’t score, but here the ball just flies to them and they score into an empty net. That’s what’s sad.
Overall, I think that against an opponent like Dynamo, we looked good. Definitely in the first half. In the second half we already “drifted” a bit. What can you do... Dynamo is Dynamo," Boychuk said on the DiviSport channel.
