After ten years in the English championship, Kevin De Bruyne may continue his career at the American club “Chicago Fire,” local media report.
“Chicago Fire” announced that the main goal of the club is to sign the Belgian. Interest in the player is also shown by “DC United,” “New York City,” and “Inter Miami.”
The captain of the Belgium national team prefers MLS over offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia. Moreover, he does not rule out a move to another English or European club as the next step in his career.
“I am open to everything; I just need to look at the big picture. I consider the sports aspect, family — everything together that makes the most sense for me and my loved ones. I still do not know what this will be since it all depends on the people with whom negotiations are conducted and what they say about the projects. As I said before, I still feel I can play at a high level, but I will make my decision after I learn more,” De Bruyne stated.
