How difficult was it to hold the defense against “Dynamo”?

— For me, this is my debut against an opponent like “Dynamo”. It was very difficult for us. I had the task of dropping back as the fifth defender. It was a bit difficult to move forward in a counterattack. I liked the first half hour. Then my legs got tired, and it became very difficult — the opponent’s level.

After the first goal, the coaching staff said: “Nothing serious, hold on”. Then unexpectedly the second. How hard was it to gather yourself morally and continue playing?

— It’s always like this when a team that is in second to last place plays against “Dynamo” — they set themselves up to play for a draw — at least, as they say. But when teams like that concede a goal to “Dynamo” or “Shakhtar”, they crumble immediately. You have to be very psychologically resilient to take control of yourself and keep playing.

But after the fourth goal, “Inhulets” gathered themselves and produced a few brilliant counterattacks.

— Yes, I had two good moments — I needed to score. This is not the first time for me — I had moments against LNZ, against “Karpaty”. I need to work on myself — and everything will be fine.
