Defender of Barcelona Inigo Martinez said that he spat at Inter player Francesco Acherbi during the second match of the Champions League semi-final (3:4).
"Acherbi celebrated loudly after scoring when the score became 2:0, he yelled in my ear. I actually spat at him, but apparently did not hit. I admit that this was inappropriate behavior on my part. If I had hit him, I would have been sent off the field immediately, I have no doubt about that," Martinez is quoted by the Foxsports channel.
