A goal against "Inhulets" in the match of the 27th round of the Ukrainian championship became the 17th for the forward of "Dynamo" Vladislav Vanat in the country championship-2024/2025.
The 23-year-old forward is having the best season of his career and may surpass several club records. Thus, Vanat has only one goal left to match Andriy Shevchenko’s best scoring record in the Ukrainian championship, and if Vladislav wins the title of the best scorer in the country, he will level with Maksym Shatskikh in this indicator.
Notably, Vanat is on the rise in terms of the number of goals scored. In his first truly serious season in the UPL — 2021/2022 — while still with "Chornomorets", Vladislav had three goals in 17 matches. The following season — now with "Dynamo" — he scored 12 goals in 25 games. Last season, Vladislav became the championship’s top scorer — 14 goals in 27 matches. As already mentioned, Vanat currently has 17 goals in 25 matches played with three rounds to go in the championship.
17 goals — the best result for "Dynamo" since the 2012/2013 season, when Brown Ideye scored the same number in 28 matches.
Moreover, only three "Dynamo" players have scored more than Vanat in a season — Serhiy Rebrov and Maksym Shatskikh (twice each), and Andriy Shevchenko. To break the seasonal scoring record of 18 goals, currently held by the head of UAF, Vladislav could do so this season.
If Vanat scores 20 or more goals in three UPL matches — against "Polissia", "Chornomorets", and "Kolos", he will enter the elite club of "Dynamo" scorers who managed to score 20 or more goals in the championship. Previously, this was achieved only by Serhiy Rebrov (twice) and Maksym Shatskikh.

| 10−11 | Andriy Shevchenko | 16 | 1995/1996 |
| 10−11 | Viktor Leonenko | 16 | 1992/1993 |
If Vanat finishes first in the scoring race, he will become the best scorer in the UPL for the second time. Previously, only Maksym Shatskikh managed to win the best scorer title twice in "Dynamo", becoming the top scorer of the Ukrainian championship in the 1999/2000 and 2002/2003 seasons.
