The midfielder of London’s Arsenal Declan Rice commented on his team’s defeat in the Champions League semi-final against PSG.
“There’s no strength left. There was a dominant start: if we had converted one of the moments in the first 15-20 minutes, the course of the game would have flipped upside down. It seemed that it shouldn’t have happened. We gave absolutely everything to this tournament. In two matches, we could have scored three or four goals, but Donnarumma was incredible.
Sometimes in life, you need to lose a few times before you win. You have to overcome some failures to become stronger psychologically as a person, as a player, as a team. Right now, we are going through this stage. We are growing as a team, but we need to accelerate all of this while continuing to believe in ourselves,” Rice is quoted by the official UEFA website.
