— We do not orient ourselves on anyone. And we didn’t know at all how anyone played, we just wanted to win. The only thing we knew is that the game would be tough. And it turned out so. That’s why today it’s a draw.
— What did the head coach tell you in the locker room after the match?
— What happened in the locker room will stay in the locker room. I will not comment on it.
— You had two decent chances today — you twice shot from outside the penalty area. Was this a tactical instruction, or did you feel that the team was not able to penetrate the penalty area, and for this reason you made such decisions?
— It was more intuitive, based on what the situation required. It was definitely not an instruction, but ordinary moments in the game. Sometimes these moments are there, and sometimes they are not.
— Already on Wednesday, a match with «Shakhtar» in the final of the Cup of Ukraine. Have you discussed this match within the team?
— No, there were no conversations on this topic — we were completely focused on the match with «Polesje» and wanted to win. But now we will prepare for the next game — specifically with «Shakhtar». For us, the most important match is the next one, regardless of who our opponent is. But, of course, with «Shakhtar» we always have principled matches, so I think it will be an interesting game.
