— I am happy. Deep down I knew we would win today. I don’t know why, but I felt it. This victory is much more important for us than for Dynamo. We finished the championship in third place and this victory gives us the right to participate in the Europa League next season.
— Shakhtar will not play in the Champions League for the first time in 25 years. How is the tournament of lower rank perceived in the club?
— My understanding is this: we approach each game and try to win. And which tournament it is—doesn’t matter. I think we will show ourselves well there.
