Ukrainian defender of Bournemouth Ilya Zabarnyi has become a transfer target for another EPL club — Newcastle, reports The i Paper.
According to the publication, initially, the “Magpies” tried to acquire Zabarnyi’s partner in the center of Bournemouth’s defense, Dina Hyasen, but lost the battle for him to Madrid’s Real, after which they shifted their attention to Zabarnyi.
It is also reported that Bournemouth is not against parting ways with their Ukrainian defender but for a buyout amount of 50 million pounds sterling.
Finally, according to the same source, Manchester City has shown interest in Zabarnyi, but there is no activity regarding this even within the club.
Additionally, it is noted that the Ukrainian is also of interest to French PSG, Italian Milan, and English Chelsea and Tottenham.
