The Ukrainian Premier League summed up the results of the 29th round of the Ukrainian championship, the matches of which took place last weekend.
The determination of the best was traditionally carried out by surveying representatives of Ukrainian sports publications. Each of the respondents named a trio of candidates for the coach of the round, a quintet of candidates for the player of the round, and also formed their version of the symbolic team of the round.
The title of the best player of the 29th round was won by the hero of the first half of the match "Oleksandriya" - "Veres" Tedi Tsara, who scored two goals against the guests in the 21st minute. Slightly lagging behind him was another double scorer in this round - Georgiy Sudakov from "Shakhtar", and then in the top-5 were: Artem Bondarenko ("Shakhtar", also two goals against "Inhulets"), Andriy Yarmolenko ("Dynamo", championship goal against "Chornomorets") and Denys Kuzyk ("Kryvbas", the winning goal against "Obolon").
The best coach of the 29th round was recognized as Ruslan Kostyshyn, who achieved a hard-fought victory with "Kolos" over "Karpaty" (2:1), who at that moment were in 4th place in the league table. The top-3 ranking also included Ruslan Rotan ("Oleksandriya" defeated "Veres" - 3:1, after which it finally claimed the title of vice-champion of Ukraine - for the first time in history!) and Vitaliy Pervak ("Livyi Bereh" won an important match in the fight for survival in the UPL - 1:0 against "Rukh").
The 29th round team looked like this: Klishchuk ("Kryvbas"), Mykhailichenko ("Polissya"), Sarapiy ("Polissya"), Romanchuk ("Kryvbas"), Kuzyk ("Kryvbas"), Bondarenko ("Shakhtar"), Yarmolenko ("Dynamo"), Hahnidze ("Kolos"), Sudakov ("Shakhtar"), Tsara ("Oleksandriya"), Batista ("Polissya").
