The sporting director of the Polish Lechia from Gdańsk, Jakub Chodorowski, stated that the club wants to extend the loan of Kyiv Dynamo’s midfielder Anton Tsarenko, which expires at the end of the current season.
“We are negotiating with Kyiv Dynamo about extending Anton’s loan. Our offer is comprehensive. We hope the player will want to stay with us.
The issue of our club’s licensing for the next season in the Ekstraklasa (so far, Lechia has not received such a license editor’s note), will certainly play its role in this situation. But in any case, I think we will finish these negotiations only after the end of the season,” quotes Chodorowski as saying to “Kanal Sportowy”.
At the same time, as reported by other Polish media, the latest information indicates that Lechia is unlikely to extend Tsarenko’s loan. This is also confirmed by a recent report stating that the midfielder will join Dynamo for summer preseason training.
Let us remind you that Lechia rented Tsarenko before the start of the current season. Since then, he has played 29 matches for this team, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists.
