The president of English Tottenham, Daniel Levy, did not give a clear answer regarding the future of head coach Ange Postecoglou in his address at the end of the season, reports DPA.
In his address to fans before the home match against Brighton, Levy paid tribute to Postecoglou, who brought Tottenham its long-awaited trophy by winning 1-0 against Manchester United in the Europa League final in Bilbao, but did not provide any guarantees regarding the long-term future of the former Celtic manager.
— This is a huge moment for the entire club — a historic achievement that has allowed us to win our first European trophy since 1984, — said Levy. — We have been close to this multiple times and could never get over the line, but I never lost faith that success was just around the corner. I want to thank Ange and the players for making this incredible achievement possible. Thank you to our fantastic staff — for the tremendous work they do behind the scenes.
