The head coach of Kryvyi Rih’s Kryvbas, Yurii Vernidub, has announced that he is leaving the club.
“I came to Kryvbas not for contracts or status, but because I saw a true spirit here, caring people, and a team that can achieve results not through loud names, but through character.
We have seen and experienced a lot together — both victories and defeats. We have endured the war with our fans. I wish for it to end as soon as possible. We faced shelling, air raids, strikes, and instability. And I want to thank the players, the club staff, the fans, and the city of Kryvyi Rih.
Today I played my last match in charge of Kryvbas. I see nothing terrible in this. I wish the team to move forward and be at least in the top five of the UPL.
I am leaving not due to any disappointment. Believe me, I love this club very much. The only thing I ask is: please, do not stop, move forward, and you will succeed, everything is ahead of you. Therefore, once again, I sincerely thank the city, the fans, and everyone involved with Kryvbas. Thank you very much!” — said Vernidub on the air of “UPL TV” after yesterday’s match with Zhytomyr’s “Polessia” (1:1) in the final, 30th round of the Ukrainian Championship.
