Vice-President of Vorskla Oleg Lysak: "I am severing all ties with Poltava"

Vice-President of Vorskla Oleg Lysak commented on the information about the possible non-admission of his fellow countrymen from Poltava to UPL.

— The information that is spreading is true. I learned on Thursday from a letter from UAF that Poltava rented the stadium and intends to share it with us. The Association asked to confirm this information, which I of course did not do.

So no one even conducted negotiations with you regarding the main arena of the city?

— No. And this is very dishonest on the part of Poltava. You know, you can write it like this — I am severing all ties with this club. They played at our Youth Stadium at the minimum price of all possible options, and we at Vorskla always went towards them. Now they simply have imposed upon us. At Vorskla Stadium named after Oleksiy Butovskyi, there is an adult team, a women’s team, and a U-19 team based. You cannot just take and at the last moment add an additional team that will play here continuously. We live in a small city, we all know each other. However, instead of negotiating systematically and in advance, they want to put us in an awkward position behind our backs. You know very well who does this. You know this "great manager" Stanislav Maizus… Poltava interprets something there somehow, but these are their problems.

What does "I am severing all ties with SK Poltava" mean?

— I am even ready to annul all our agreements regarding the Youth Stadium in legal terms. Perhaps then, instead of backroom games, there will be some negotiations.

Taking this opportunity, I cannot help but ask, what about the transfer bans?

— We will settle them. I can assure you of that.
