Before leaving Ukraine, players from the blue and yellow team Illya Krupskyi, Vladyslav Veletien, and Georgiy Yermakov shared their hopes regarding the upcoming European championship with the UAF press service.

Illya Krupskyi: “You always go to the national team with excitement, as it is great to represent your country at such championships. We are focused on having a good cycle, preparing well, and entering the Euro group stage in a fighting spirit.”

Vladyslav Veletien: “It’s a very interesting tournament. It’s always nice to play against strong opponents — top-level national teams. It’s with them that you can understand what level you are at.”

Georgiy Yermakov: “Competition is always good for the growth of each player. One is the champion of Ukraine, another plays in La Liga. It will be nice to work with them. I think, no matter what strength you feel in yourself, you need to understand that this is sport, and you have to progress in your game step by step, higher and higher.”
