Honored coach of Ukraine Myron Markevich shared his impressions of the Champions League final between “PSG” and “Inter”, which ended in a crushing victory for the French team.
“I will not be original when I say that no one expected such a final result. After all, the teams were approximately equal in strength and 5:0 in favor of the French does not contribute to the image of football.
However, long before the decisive match in this tournament, my favorites were PSG and “Barcelona”. As you can see, the Parisians justified my expectations. Ultimately, the Italian giant also contributed to “PSG” in this, being surprised, primarily, by their helplessness near their own goal. It was felt that “Inter” was in a depressed state after the failure on the domestic arena. Unlike their opponent, “PSG” had triumphed in France a long time ago and outperformed their opponent in all components.
Credit should be given to the coaching staff of the Parisians, who ensured that the players had an advantage in speed, variety of actions on the football field. And each of the French clearly knew their maneuver, no one fell out of the ensemble, unlike the whole group of performers of “Inter”.
Of course, it is disappointing that “Barcelona” lost to “Inter” in the semifinals. Otherwise, we would have witnessed a fantastic final,” said Markevich.
