"I wanted to be at the World Cup, at the Euros, at the Copa America. I have always thought about it. But it depends on many things. If it happens, then that’s fine. If not, then that’s more than fine too.

I am very happy for Ancelotti. But I am even happier that he is no longer at Real, because he constantly beats me. Now I no longer have to put up with that," Guardiola was quoted by Reuters.

Moreover, Pep has faced Ancelotti five times in the Champions League playoffs, and the more experienced Italian’s teams have won all but one of those encounters.
