Romania national team suffered its second defeat in the first three rounds of the 2026 World Cup qualifying cycle in group “H”: yesterday, Mircea Lucescu’s team lost away to Austria (1:2), and in the opening match, they lost at home to Bosnia and Herzegovina (0:1).
Commenting on the defeat to Austria for the TV broadcaster, Lucescu struggled to hide his irritation, and when he heard the question about his future as the head coach of the Romania national team, he left the area for the flash interview, throwing the phrase: “Leave me alone! I said everything”.
