The head coach of the Canada national team Jesse Marsh talked about how he negotiated with the current UAF president Andrey Shevchenko.

“When I was the head coach of ‘Montreal’, I invited Andrey Shevchenko to my team. We talked for half an hour discussing this. But he decided to return to his home club — Kyiv’s Dynamo (this happened in 2009, — ed. note.),” said Marsh, as quoted by the Telegram channel “VZBIRNA”.
