Well-known commentator Viktor Vatsko stated that last year Kyiv’s Dynamo refused to sell its defender Taras Mikhavko to Portuguese Porto for 10 million euros.
“I believe that Mikhavko is a player with very high potential. I am sure, convinced of his potential. Yes, he makes mistakes sometimes, but he is only 20 years old—at this age everyone makes mistakes. With age, mistakes will become fewer. And Mikhavko has only just completed his first full season at the adult level.
Is it true that last year Igor Surkis (president of Dynamo—editor’s note) refused to sell Mikhavko to Porto for 10 million? Now Taras is playing in the European Championship as part of the Ukrainian youth national team, and I am sure that in time he will also play for the national team,” Vatsko said on his YouTube channel.
Recall that last autumn Igor Surkis denied information regarding Porto’s offer for Mikhavko.
