The press service of Kyiv’s Dynamo published a statement from the club’s president Igor Surkis following the night attack on Ukraine by Russian troops.
Dear residents of Kyiv, dear Ukrainians!
Last night, our city and other regions of Ukraine experienced yet another horrific attack. Hundreds of enemy targets were launched at Kyiv. There are destructions, injured, and, unfortunately, fatalities. On behalf of the entire FC “Dynamo” (Kyiv) and personally, I express my sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased. We mourn together with you.
Today, more than ever, it is important to remain united, strong, and with faith in Victory. The symbols of our resilience, our culture, our life will never be destroyed by the enemy. Kyiv stands. Ukraine holds on. And we will definitely win.
FC “Dynamo” is not just a team. It is part of a great Ukrainian heart. We are alongside each of you. We are together with our warriors, guardians of the sky, rescuers, volunteers, everyone who defends our land. We are proud of you. We believe in you.
