The newcomer of the Ukrainian Premier League “Poltava” may not play in the top division of the Ukrainian championship.
As reported by former journalist Ihor Burbas, “despite the fact that the club was issued a certificate, its participation in the elite is still not guaranteed. The relevant committee of the UAF suspected the Poltava team of discrepancies in the documents provided during the certification process. Specifically: the infrastructure declared by the UPL newcomer, which it does not have the right to use. Poltava has also declared cooperation with the women’s team “Atex”, which still has an active contract with “Chornomorets”.
Yesterday, a meeting was supposed to be held at the House of Football, to which representatives of the SC “Poltava” did not appear and did not provide the necessary confirming documents. The club was given another week, and the case was postponed for consideration.”
