As it became known Sport Arena, the FC “Poltava” has debts for several months to the footballers. In the conditions of war, this is a common situation for many clubs, however, the Poltava team must resolve this issue to participate in the UPL.
Earlier, former journalist Igor Burbas reported that FC “Poltava” may be denied participation in the UPL — even despite having the relevant certificate.
The UAF licensing committee suspected the documents provided by the Poltava representatives did not meet the necessary standards during the certification process.
On Thursday, June 19, a meeting was supposed to take place at the Football House, to which the representatives of FC “Poltava” did not appear and did not provide documents confirming their legitimacy. The club was given a week to eliminate all gaps and the case review was postponed.
