The Italian “Milan” has not abandoned the idea of signing the Ukrainian defender of London’s “Arsenal” Oleksandr Zinchenko as a replacement for Theo Hernandez, who is moving to the Saudi “Al-Hilal”.
According to “Corriere dello sport”, there are no obstacles for the clubs to finalize such a transfer with a release clause of about 20 million euros, and the only problem so far is Zinchenko’s high salary at “Arsenal” (9 million euros per year). The source reports that this issue is currently being actively discussed with the agents of the 28-year-old Ukrainian, and if he agrees to lower earnings, his transfer to “Milan” will most likely happen immediately.
At the same time, “Mozzart Sport”, discussing the topic of such a transfer for Zinchenko, is confident that the player will accept the terms of “Milan” regarding the contract, as his priority is to gain regular playing time, which he was almost deprived of last season.
