The Ukrainian Football Association, represented by President Andriy Shevchenko, and the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine, represented by Acting Rector Oleksandr Pyzhov, signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The document consolidates the strategic partnership of the parties in the areas of scientific activity, sports law, educational programs, and the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at the comprehensive development of football in Ukraine.
The parties agreed on cooperation in the following areas:
— participation in joint scientific research, in particular on issues of improving the regulatory framework in the field of sports;
— development, implementation, and modernization of educational programs of the University;
— implementation of joint projects and programs aimed at the development of football and the introduction of modern scientific methods;
— organization of conferences, seminars, round tables, and other events aimed at promoting football and a healthy lifestyle;
— interaction with other organizations to discuss the problems and prospects of sports development, particularly football;
— participation in the implementation of nationwide, local, and international programs to ensure access to football for all categories of the population;
— exchange of information and experience between specialists of both institutions;
— participation of University staff in educational and social events of UAF, as well as UAF specialists in events held by the University;
— organization of internships for NUFVSU students in structural subdivisions of UAF.
Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties also started preparing a joint educational program for the Center for Football Education and Leadership. This educational project will be key in training highly qualified specialists for the Ukrainian football system — both in the field of management and in scientific and analytical support.
Cooperation between UAF and NUFVSU is an important step towards strengthening the foundation of football education, improving the quality of training personnel, and implementing innovative scientific approaches — for the development of domestic football.
