Napoli striker Romelu Lukaku talked about how he tried to influence his Belgium national team partner Kevin De Bruyne to join the Neapolitan club.
"I'm happy he's joining us. He is exactly what Napoli needs for the next step. We just became champions, and we don’t just want to defend this title — we also want to grow. I spoke with him a few times when I was with the national team, and he also called me once. I explained how everything works here. I also told him where he can look for housing, etc. Dries and I did everything possible to convince him, and Kevin made the right choice."
