The forward of Trabzonspor, who previously played for "Shakhtar", shared his thoughts on the "miners" game under Patrick van Leuwen.

For example, he wanted two "tens" to run behind at all times, and the central defender would kick diagonally there. There was always a fast attack.
How does "Shakhtar" play? They stretch, build up, roll the ball, everything carefully, cautiously. Here everything is fast, everything is different, there was a lot of running. The training sessions were tough. We did not have a warm-up. We went out onto the field, we had squares immediately and sprints — not at 50, but at 100 percent.
No one liked it. And how can you play football that you do not like? If Van Leuwen had stayed, then perhaps no one would have survived until the end of the season. For me, the trainings were not that strong or very tough. For me, it was just unclear that we did not have a warm-up and immediately sprints. There were many injuries," Sikan is quoted by the Telegram channel "Vzbіrna" with a reference to Igor Tsyganyk’s YouTube channel.
