"Benfica" announced on its official website the signing of a new contract with the team's central defender Nicolás Otamendi.
The new deal for the Argentine veteran is valid until the summer of 2026. The previous contract of the 37-year-old footballer with the Lisbon club was expiring on June 30.
It is worth noting that in the summer of 2020, Otamendi joined "Benfica" from "Manchester City" for 15 million euros.
