— To be honest, for me, it was a very emotional match. Our team played against perhaps the best team on the planet at this time. Who could have thought about that? Personally, it was unusual for me to end my playing career at PSG, and in such a way. I spent six months there, but it felt like that time lasted 16 years. This club is a true family. Truly, it is a special club owned by special people and guided by a special coach.

Of course, we are proud that we managed to be here and reach the Round of 16 of the Club World Championship. For the owners, friends, and partners, it was a special moment," David Beckham said.

It should be noted that David Beckham joined PSG in January 2013. During his time at Paris, the Englishman played 14 matches and retired after the end of the season.
