Kyiv’s “Dynamo” continues preparations for the new season in Bad Waltersdorf, Austria. On Monday, the second working day of the Austrian training camp, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s team held two training sessions on the football field.
During the morning session, great attention was again paid to running drills. The session began with an intensive warm-up, during which players had to jump over fairly high barriers. Then the players worked on passing, after which they faced a real challenge – high-intensity interval running. The running practice was made even more difficult by the harsh weather conditions - a real summer heat settled in Bad Waltersdorf, and during the morning training session, the temperature exceeded +30 degrees Celsius.
During the breaks between running exercises, players worked with the balls, competing in a small goal game.
The evening training session was much more filled with gameplay exercises. Players worked on combinations, finishing attacks, and team interactions. As during the morning session, four mini-teams without goalkeepers competed on small goals. The day ended with a game on a large field with goalkeepers.
Nazar Voloshyn, who represented Ukraine in the youth Euro-2025 in June, has been working with the team since day one. The rest of the squad members will join the team in the coming days.
