Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois shared his impressions of the newcomer Trent Alexander-Arnold’s play at the Club World Cup.
"I think he could have scored a couple of goals in these four matches. His pre-assist in the match against Pachuca was also excellent. In training, he is terrifying — in the sense that his strikes are simply incredible. His free kicks and corners are on a completely different level.
I don’t think I’ve seen anyone with such quality of strikes and crosses. As a goalkeeper, sometimes it’s a real nightmare. But it keeps you on your toes, it makes you work harder — you try to stop his strikes so that both he and you can become even better," Courtois said in an interview with DAZN.
