Kyiv’s “Dynamo” continues preparation for the new season at the training camp in Austria. On Thursday, Alexander Shovkovskiy’s team held two training sessions on the football field.
The morning session began with a warm-up using fitness bands, after which the players moved on to ball work. After drills on ball control in squares, they practiced quick attacks—the game was three on three, during which players were divided into seven groups.
A separate group of seven national team players—Vanat, Bragaru, Bražko, Vivcharenko, Mykhavko, Rubchynskyi, and Yatsyk—trained separately. Their individual program included a significant amount of running work.
In the evening training session, the national team players started in a general group, participating in a warm-up that this time involved balls. The team was once again divided into groups according to their current level of fitness. The main group first practiced heading. Special attention was also paid to executing set pieces, while the most dynamic exercise occurred at the end of the training. Its goal was to realize a majority in attack and play defensively in a minority—players ran from goal to goal in quick 1v1, 2v1, 3v2, and 4v3 attacks.
On Friday, the team’s schedule includes one theoretical and one practical session. On Saturday, the “white-blues” will play their first friendly match after the summer break—against the Hungarian “Kishvarda”.
