Ribeiro is familiar with Ukrainian football: in his time he played for Kharkiv’s “Arsenal,” “Metalist,” and “Kharkiv,” as well as for Zaporizhzhia’s “Metallurg.”

As a coach, the Brazilian specialist has experience working in the coaching staff of Kharkiv’s “Metalist” (under Alexander Kuchery, who led this team first to the First League and then to the UPL) and Latvia’s “Liepaja.”
