The Zhytomyr “Polesie” suffered defeat for the first time under their new head coach Ruslan Rotan.
Yesterday, the “wolves” were trounced 0:3 by the champion of Slovakia, DAC, in a friendly match. Polesie conceded two goals in the first half and another one after the break.
Additionally, before this, under Rotan’s leadership, the Zhytomyr team played two friendly matches — against Bratislava’s “Slovan” (1:1) and Austrian “Horn” (3:1, one of the goals for “Polesie” was scored by former Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Alexander Andriyevsky).
