Arsenal in a deadlock with the transfer of Zinchenko, despite significant interest in him

London's Arsenal has encountered serious problems in realizing its desire to sell its Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zinchenko, whose contract expires in a year.

The chief transfer expert at TBR Football, Graeme Bailey, stated that the 28-year-old player is of interest to a number of clubs, but the high salary of the Ukrainian at Arsenal (€9 million a year) makes the situation with his transfer a deadlock.

‘There is potential interest from all sides in Zinchenko. But the complexity is that he earns a lot of money, and therefore it is not so easy to pull him out. I think this situation will require some creativity,’ Bailey is quoted by Arsenal Insider.
