Liverpool has reached out to representatives of Newcastle regarding a possible transfer of striker Alexander Isak, Fabrizio Romano reports on Twitter.
The management of Liverpool revealed their intention to pay a record amount of 120 million pounds for the 25-year-old forward.
Previously, the Magpies did not want to sell Isak and offered him a new contract on improved terms.
In the last season, Isak played 42 matches for Newcastle in all competitions, scoring 27 goals and providing six assists.
