Famous commentator Ihor Tsyhanyk expressed his opinion on the new head coach of Shakhtar, Arda Turan.
“Turan has one huge advantage over all the former coaches of Shakhtar — it’s his name, and that means a lot. He can easily ask his players: ‘And who are you? I said — let’s go!’. And they will run. Turan should be an authority for the Shakhtar players, if he hasn’t become one yet. The main thing is that he doesn’t break them. Before Turan, there were coaches at Shakhtar who had to prove who they were and that they were right. As Blokhin once said to his wards: ‘Look how I scored,’” said Tsyhanyk.
