On the night of July 20, in London, at Wembley stadium, the second confrontation took place between the Ukrainian champion WBA, WBC, WBO and IBO, 38-year-old Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KO) and the British IBF champion, 27-year-old Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KO). As two years ago, in August 2023, Oleksandr Usyk emerged victorious.
The Ukrainian showcased another brilliant performance and, defeating his opponent by knockout, once again unified all championship belts, bringing yet another glorious victory to Ukrainian sports! He first achieved this in the cruiserweight category, followed by two more in the heavyweight division.
Along with millions of Ukrainians, Kyiv Dynamo fans closely followed the championship fight with special anticipation. The president of FC “Dynamo” Kyiv, Ihor Surkis, congratulated Oleksandr Usyk on his significant victory.
